CADECOM Mangochi

The Catholic Development Commission (CADECOM) for the Mangochi Diocese was founded in 1970 and works with communities to improve access to water through boreholes drilling; increase food security through irrigation scheme that use submersible pumps and solar power; facilitate women income generation through village savings and loans groups; and promotion of environmental friendly energy technologies such as energy saving stoves.

As a Catholic development agency they work with any vulnerable groups of society regardless of gender, religion or ethnicity.

Within the CCPM it works with communities in Machinga district.
