Trócaire

Trócaire is the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland and works in partnership with local and church organisations, supporting communities in over 20 developing countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East to bring about lasting change.

Having worked in Malawi since 1976, with a country office since 2007, Trócaire brings a wealth of experience on resilient building, resource rights and use, women’s empowerment and humanitarian preparedness and response, all underpinned by good governance and human rights.

Trócaire is the lead agency in Malawi to coordinate the CCPM and provides technical support to national CCPM partner organisations.
