CADECOM National

Catholic Development Commission in Malawi (CADECOM) is part of the Catholic Church in Malawi. Established in 1994 as a response to relief and development needs, it’s main role is to coordinate projects in the 8 Catholic dioceses as well as lead in policy and advocacy work.

CADECOM National Office’s main role is to coordinate projects in the dioceses as well as lead in policy and advocacy work. Within the CCPM, CADECOM National works with communities to support their engagement with local government.

It is a member of the Caritas Internationalis - a confederation of Catholic organizations mandated to spread solidarity and social justice.
